2015 is over, winter has arrived and we look forward to the upcoming swap meet season. Paris swap meet is February 14th and we look forward to seeing everyone again. We are using our 83 GMC suburban as our swap meet vehicle this winter so our 69 is getting a rest and my dad can have his Silverado back. See you soon, Dave International Centre December 2015
The International Centre on Airport Road, Mississauga Ontario was a busy place for car nuts on the first Sunday of December. We saw some familiar faces and met many new friends. People building Novas, Chevelles, Chevy Trucks and Buicks were all looking for mirrors, door handles, window cranks and stainless to take home.
Our next swap meet is not until February in Paris Ontario, but as Dave always says, " We are as close as your mailbox." Cheers The weather outside is cold, that means it is time to stoke the furnace in the shop and settle in to working on that project that's been waiting for you. Sunday December 6 at the International Centre on Airport Road, Mississauga Ontario is the location for our final swap meet of 2015. You should be able to find the weatherstrip, emblems, mirrors, door handles, body panels and more parts that you need for your project at this large indoor swap meet. Call ahead and order or stop in for a visit at our vendor site. For more info _motorcitycarclub
I can't think of the last time I've had such an exciting morning. Members from The McLaughlin Buick Club of Cananda visited our home before continuing on their tour of Essex County. Eighteen vehicles ranging from 1937 to 2013, full of beautiful friendly people who share a passion for restoration and preservation of not only Buicks but all types of transportaion. Thank you for visiting and sharing and allowing us to tag along to Heritage Village Transportation Museum. A big Thank You to Holley for taking a video and posting for all to see.
It's the end of July already. How did that happen? Bothwell Car show and swap meet; one of the biggest in Southwestern Ontario is in only 7 days. We are stocking parts and planning our layout and praying for good weather. If you only attend one show this summer make sure it is Bothwell. Stop by our site and say Hi; row I site # 3,4 &5.
We are gearing up for our first swap meet of the year Paris February 8 . We hope everyone is progressing well on their projects and if there is anything you are hoping we bring to Paris, give us a call and we will make sure we find room in the truck for it. Stop around and say Hi - see you there
We had heard lots of stories about the swap meet at the International Center near the airport in Toronto and finally had to try it out.
Lots of people, sold some stuff, bought some stuff, long drive home. Starting to plan for Paris in February. This year is the first year that we will be heading out to the International Centre in Mississauga Ontario for their 47th Annual Motor City Cars & Parts Flea Market. Create your car part Christmas lists and stop in to see us on December 7. Hopefully the snow's not too bad by then, and everyone will be able to travel safely. Hope to see you there.
Ancaster fall 2014 was another great swap meet. Coming off 403 you could see the line of lights and tail lights waiting to set up outside.
The weather was clear and crisp and we were glad we were inside. It was great to see our friends and customers and catch up. Looking forward to the International Centre in December. Looking forward to Ancaster swap meet Sunday. Still trying to figure out what used parts to take - thinking some 67-72 truck parts, some nice 70-72 Nova parts I recently ran across, maybe some 64 El camino stuff. If you want me to look up anything specific. let me know. See you Sunday in the big building
