August 11, Michelle, Dave and I piled into our 1967 Chevy Pick up and took a 2 hour drive up to Sarnia for their Hot August Nights Car Show held by the Sarnia Street Machines. All proceeds went to Pathways Health Centre for Children. Held in Centennial Park, entrance was by donation only with a live band and food available. Playing both the oldies and a little of the more modern music early in the evening was Borderline. Cars were parked all along the waterfront with lots of shade and the beautiful evening was sure to be enjoyed.
Keep on cruising Holley August 5 and 6 we headed out to the fields of Bothwell for the 20th annual Old Autos Car Show and Swap meet. The sun was shining and the days were hot at our spot, I4. We saw many familiar faces as well as made some new customers. We were glad to take a minute to look at pictures of the many interesting projects and talk to our customers about how we can help them on their upcoming stages.
Our spot was packed full of many new and used parts for a variety of Trucks, Novas, Buicks and other GM vehicles as well as three trucks of our own. Starting out with Andrew’s 1964 Chevrolet C-10 Pickup on the one end, our 1969 Custom 10, 3 door Suburban in the back and our newly on the road 1967 Chevrolet C-10 on the other end with a for sale sign in the window. We hope to see many of you at our upcoming shows this fall. Keep on Cruising, Holley |
