Bothwell 2009

Friday August 7 was a beautiful summer day.  The fields in Bothwell were busy with vendors and buyers.  We saw many friendly faces from past meets.  We also made many new friends.  Time passed quickly and before we new it we were setting up our tent and settling in for the night.  After a traditional trip to Bothwell's local establishment for chicken wings and a nice meal from the BBQ we settled in to listen to the band.  Morning broke to the sounds of engines reving as they lined up to find the perfect parking spot for Saturday's show and shine.  Despite the ominous weather vendors continued to set up their displays.  Mid morning the dark clouds began to empty.  People continued despite the weather.  Shortly after noon with no clear skies in sight we began to pack up.  We arrived home a couple hours later looking forward to a warm shower and dry clothes.  Mother nature may not have co-operated on Saturday but Bothwell 2009 was still worth the drive.  We hope to see everyone in 2010.  Remember to drop  by site I4.
