SEPTEMBER 2019

Into the old photo Album again.
Some of these were labelled and dated.
I believe these pictures are from "LAST CHANCE CAMPOUT" in September 1988.
The notes say 8 couples from the Classic Cruisers attended.
Back in the day the club attended Last Chance Campout a couple years in a row.
The host club put on a good [but small back then] show and we used it as an end of season run.
Michelle and I had the chance to attend the new version of this show a couple of years ago.
I don't think you can camp out there any more and it certainly is not small.
I was impressed that it had the feeling of a nationals event with hundreds of cars, vendors, and a great swap meet.
I am not sure if we will be able to attend this year but it is recommended.
Anyway here is some nostalgia.
Picture
Here are Paul, Ron, Kathy, Lisa, Jim, Stass and Maryann and Linda .
the picture is labelled "beer break"
Picture
Remember when car shows had games for the participants to play?
Here I am tossing valves into an oil pan while Ron waits his turn and roots me on.
Picture
Here Stass tosses fanbelts while Ron and Jim look on and a volunteer from the host club records his success on a clip board.
I think we were going for the club participation award and every event contributed.
Picture
Here Mario lines up his 32 Ford for the "blind driver" competition.

Picture
Mario's 32 , our 56 Sedan Delivery and Stass' 67 GTO lined up .
Picture
Here we are lined up with our banner behind us.
Not sure exactly where this was.
Our 56, Paul's 55, Mario's 32, Stass' GTO and Jim's 41 Plymouth coupe.

Hope these pictures make you want to go out to a show and make new memories and remember to label your picture. Dave
