Traditional Rod

6/7/2014

I have always wanted to build a traditional rod with some newer updates.  I have even gone so far as to gather up a quad 4, independent rear end out of a T bird or Cougar or MarkVIII, etc.  Of course someone came along and bought all those parts I gathered for their own projects but...  Anyway, my son Andrew has a nice 28 Model A body and frame and is gathering up his own collection of parts the  way he wants to build it, but I still have the yearning to do one myself.  Maybe a Buick Nailhead, finned aluminum front drums, chop the top 3" or 4" -[ I am shorter than my son - we have his marked out for a 2"  chop so he can wear his hat in the car]and so on.

Anyway here is a good start  - I wish it was closer : 1930 model A
