too nice for a winter beater

Unwritten rule at our place is nothing newer than 1972. Winter beaters and parts cars are excepted.  Even though we are enjoying nice hot summer weather , the calendar is reminding us that winter will soon be here.  Last year we ended up driving our 69 burb and this year we hope not to have to., so we have begun our search for a good winter beater.  That is why I found this great 79 Impala 2 door with the great rear window.
