remember Boblo

About 30 years ago I tied to buy a 3 wheeled vehicle that had been retired from Boblo island.  The deal never happened but the ideas never went away.  I was going to rod it - engine conversion, big tires, fancy paint,  lots of chrome etc.  I wasn't looking for another one but in my travels I came across this one 1961 Cushman Truckster .

I think the details of my build have changed and now I would even consider restoring it - if research showed that a 61 Cushman was worthy of restoration dollar wise.  Now engine choices would be a Buick 3.8 v6 or maybe a motorcycle engine like a GSXR or maybe that electric conversion I have been researching.
