Pre Buick McLaughan

Is it a coincidence that we met a guy on a horse on the way up town this afternoon and tonight there is a carriage in my blog?  My 37 is a McLaughan Buick .  They were known to be built with  excellent fit and finish.  It is rumoured that Buick considered using a McLaughan Buick for the New York auto show but they  thought it might make the expectations of the US market too high.  I don't know much about horses but I would love to have a carriage like this in my collection.
