know it when you see it

My wife has worked very hard to convert me from an accumulator to a collector.

An accumulator gathers stuff - general stuff not specific stuff.

A collector collects stuff with at least a theme or common thread.

This would seem like a positive transition but it has its' drawbacks.

It is harder to break up a "set" or Pair 

 or a car that fits your " life list".

When I had accumulated things it was much easier to get rid of some that didn't "fit".

Anyway we stopped to look at a truck last week and the guy had  a forward controls JEEP stake truck.  This truck fit his collection perfectly but it made me go looking for one as well. 1960 Willys
