When Chevrolet introduced the Chevy 2 in 1962 it was an economy car and the sports car - muscle car stuff was years away.  The great thing is that the performance stuff came before they changed platforms and GM is really good about interchange - in other words the 6 comes out easy and the built small block goes in easy too.  Add the drop top and you have a sweet ride.  Today's pick looks like a straight forward project with great reward - both in pleasure and value.  1963 Chevrolet Nova Convertible
