car hauler

We have been talking for a while about getting a better truck and trailer setup for bringing home all the cars and trucks we dream about.  Should we go late model , 25 year old era stuff or real old, real cool project hauler kinda deal.  We haven't decided yet but this one changes my thinking a little.  How about a 320 cube straight 8 buick powered Diamond T cab over.  Tons  of torque, mate it to an Allison tranny, get a newer donor chassis with serviceable brakes , bearings and 2 speed rear end , rough in the body, add a couple of creature comforts and away we go. 

Only question is how do we get it home.
