Sunday August 27 we found ourselves at beautiful Lions Park in Mt Brydges.
We were in the shade in the swap meet area and had quite a busy day, visiting, selling
and I even found time to wander the car show area and take some pictures.
We had the pleasure of strolling through the car show at the Watford Cornfest last weekend.
Here are some pictures we took.
On our brief but relaxing vacation weekend we stopped by the beautiful park full of Classic cars in Stratford.
Here are a few pictures we took while we were there.
Here are a few pictures Holley and I took at Heritage village this spring.
It was great to see everyone again.
Rodders and Racers swap meet and car show
One could not ask for better weather than we had for the 52nd Rodders and Racers swap meet and car show.
Vendor participation was greater than expected as we were up past where they had cut the grass and there were vendors even further up than us. Sales were steady and we had time to visit and enjoy the day.
Here are a few pictures of the show.
Ancaster in April can be the best swap meet in Southern Ontario if the weather is good.
It can be about as good as most of the others if the weather doesn't cooperate.
When the weather reports promise 90 percent chance of rain a few people will stay home.
For those who attended there were lots of good parts and deals to be found.
Below: Our Hosts , the Road Runners display and banner, vending in the dark, Mustang parts in the rain.
above: 58 Chevy Fleetline leaving the show, vendor with a good canopy braving the rain, big, heavy parts for sale
below: nice old Ford truck with flames and spectators in the dark searching for deals.
We were even treated to a power failure. With all the cell phones lit up it had the feel of a concert.
Car Show Coverage
We often take the picture of cars: that interest us, catch our eye, we wish we could own, and are easy to shoot. We don't all have a lot of patience for taking the best pictures.
