I can't believe August is almost over. We worked for many days getting ready for Bothwell Swap meet.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hi and let us know how their car or truck is running or how their project is progressing.
September looks like it will be busy with swap meets or car shows every weekend if you have time to go.
We will get to several but probably not all.
So what is new for September 2019 - going with the "custom" theme I have brought in some "Kustom" car parts.
Headlight visors, mirror visors and Tri bar headlight covers.
In the shop we have Holley's Chevy 2 . We have cleaned it out, sorted through all the parts for doubles and what we can sell and started reskinning the passenger door. Progress is not fast but there is progress.
On the web site we have added the "OTHER PEOPLE'S CARS FOR SALE PAGE".
Hopefully we can grow it and put some good buyers together with some good cars.
Also considering a "WANTED" section.
We took this door in trade - it fits 64-66 Chevrolet and GMC trucks.
It has had a skin put on the bottom and is really solid.
Call for more info - there were some other 64-66 parts in this deal as well.
New Part [to us] Acadian Invader Emblems
Four rare Acadian emblems but not 2 pair, the bottom badge is like new while the others show some wear.
Help me identify the year, thanks, Dave
Here are some pictures of our new look display at Paris last weekend
Outdoor swap meet season is here and we have a new look. We picked up a small used enclosed trailer to haul our parts and display.
Look for us at Rocton May 25.
This month we have a part that is new to us.
Square Body trucks seem to be the new hot ticket and we have a "CHEVROLET" tailgate emblem.
It is a high quality licensed, reproduction and could be used on other year custom trucks as well.
Two new things for March. We have a new part to showcase.
Altman Easy Latch Universal Bear Jaw Latch Kit.
High Quality Compact Stainless Steel Kit.
Check out the complete line of high end parts from Trique.
Second new thing is coverage of Detroit Autorama.
Michelle and I headed over to Detroit Friday and had a great time.
We saw a lot of familiar faces and I took a bunch of pictures.
Here are a few, we will post more pictures late in the month.
Today, Sunday February 3rd is a beautiful day here in the sunny south. The last little while has not been so pleasant. It is hard to get anything new on the yard when the car trailers are snowed in and it is too cold to wander around outside. Fortunately my friend Drew stopped over and solved my problem. When it is as cold as Winnepeg in southern Ontario we have die cast cars to cure our Old Car appetite.
Drew brought our daughter Holley a fine 57 Chevy 150 2 door post die cast complete with "Holley" decals .
This is one we have not seen before and will be treasured.
Anyone else have a die cast collection?
