inspired by Rockford

Yesterday I blogged about the Rockford Files Firebirds.  Because I preferred the back window treatment of the earlier birds I used a 1973 and I have learned that officially they only used 1974 -1978 Firebirds and Formula Firebirds redressed to look like plane Firebirds.  Today we follow that up with Republic of Doyle's GTO. Allan Hawco give James Garner credit for the inspiration of his character Jake Doyle.
